Last week, we highlighted the importance of having a support group and training partners.

In many powerlifting meets cheering and encouragement from the audience, coaches, organizers and even fellow competitors is the norm.

This type of encouragement can boost a lifter with that last bit of much needed strength to successfully complete the lift.

It’s noble to push through your lifts in solitude, but the added advantage of having others motivating and cheering you on makes becoming Baahubali, especially on that last rep of the ‘All-Out set’ all the more rewarding.
